Oh my God! I do no how I can express my gratitude to Go Gorilla Trekking for creating some a magical trip! Indeed you organized us an exhilarating safari that will never fade from our memories. Thanks very much right from the tour consultants in the office to the tour guide who made our safari fantastic. You’re such an experienced team that i have never seen anywhere else.
My kids and I had a great time on our Uganda safari which involved a gorilla trekking tour and game viewing! For sure no one wished to come back home we wished more days on the Ugandan soil. In Uganda every one is welcoming and I was surprised by the nature of African People. Every one is hospitable, people were happily waving at us and others were calling us ‘’muzungu’’ as that’s the Luganda translation meaning white.
My husband and I had to move to South Africa about two years ago for work. At first we were scared about living there because it was a strange county, however after staying there for about three years we really got used to life living in Africa, and we really got to love the life, and so did our kids. My daughters had never gone on a safari before, until when I told my husband that I wanted to take them with me to Uganda to have a vacation and also get a chance to seeing what their friends had always been telling them like the amazing animals that are found in Uganda and probably seeing then in a close range in a tourist vehicle not seeing them in zoos as usual.
At first he did not want me to go without him, but I told him that it was something that I wanted to do just with my little girls. The girls and I caught a flight to Uganda, and we where picked by hospitable tour guides who took us to a nice hotel we booked with our tour company for a dinner and latter the following morning we embarked on our trip to various places .We went on a Kampala city tour, the guide took us to the Uganda museum, market places and also we went to the Kasubi tombs the cultural site where over five kings of Buganda were buried, and we ended our evening with a performance at the Ndere Center.
We later moved on to different national parks where we had chance of viewing various amazing wildlife in just meters like the herds of elephants, buffaloes, lion, giant forest hogs, different species of antelopes, warthogs and many more. We really had a great time starting with a journey to Murchison Falls National Park and later connected to Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Forest and Lake Bunyonyi. We were able to go on a splendid safari and the girls were able to see plenty of things that they had never seen before in South Africa except missing the gorilla trek in Bwindi because of their age! I am really happy that I was able to go with my girls on the safari, because we all had a really great time. Even now they are still yearning to go back for more adventure in Uganda and this time round I think they will be allowed to join the gorilla tracking group, I think that will be the greatest moment.
